It’s time to Be Charmed and Be Dazzled in Baltimore. The Maryland Conference Committee is delighted to welcome you to Baltimore for the 30th Annual Business of Brides Conference to be held at the beautiful and historic Tremont Grand, the epitome of elegance, located in the heart of downtown. The Tremont Grand is located only minutes from the Inner Harbor, Baltimore’s crown jewel. This unique historic venue, with its richly appointed rooms, will create a “vertical” experience for the attendees. Events and sessions will be held on multiple floors so be sure to bring your comfortable shoes.
Baltimore is absolutely gorgeous in the fall with temperatures around 55 degrees with cooler temperatures in the evening. Be sure to bring a jacket and a sweater for the seminar rooms in case they are cool. With so much to do in Baltimore, a city rich in culture and history, beautiful architecture, museums, and other attractions and with close proximity to Washington, D.C., the Nation’s capital, why not plan to come early and stay late. Come on Saturday and enjoy an optional tour of Washington, D.C. or the Inner Harbor. Be sure to bring your camera for the many photo opportunities these tours will afford you.
Choose from a wide variety of educational topics beginning on Sunday. On Monday and Tuesday, there are over 15 breakout sessions from which to choose. You will be charmed and dazzled by our dynamic conference speakers – Grace Ormonde and Diann Valentine.
Registration and the Trade Show will be in the Edinburgh Hall and the Mirror Room on the fifth floor of The Tremont Grand and will be open on Sunday and Monday. Be certain to visit the Trade Show in order to be eligible for a chance to win special seating with featured speakers and more!!
Dress in your favorite black outfit for Sunday’s Diamonds and Pearls Opening Cocktail Reception. You will experience an old Hollywood night of glamour in the magnificent Corinthian Room.
We have worked closely with The Tremont Grand’s catering staff and chefs to design palate pleasing meals for your Monday and Tuesday breakfast and lunch.
Monday’s optional off-site dinner – A Charming Evening Under the City Lights — lets you step back in time to experience an elegant evening with Baltimore’s rich history as you enjoy a delicious wine dinner in the 1840’s Ballroom. On Tuesday, step it up with an evening of fun, food and culture. Experience a “Taste of Baltimore” with palate-pleasing eclectic and historic neighborhood cuisines and be dazzled by Baltimore’s rich dance culture. Bring your dancing shoes and plan to dance the night away! Whether you choose to dance or enjoy other activities, the night promises to be fun-sational!!
